Paul is
making a statement here, that all of the nature of God resides in Christ
fully.
Everything that came before Jesus
was incomplete and imperfect, namely due to the fact that it came through mere men
who could not reflect the true nature of God.
Jesus is the personification of God in human
form. Even though He was God, He lived
as a man and chose to become a servant to demonstrate what God’s heart was for
mankind. Jesus never saw that the Godhead
was something to be grasped or attained while he was walking on this earth, but
took humbleness as His method for keeping everyone He encountered wondering "what sort of man is this?"
Humbleness
is a trait that has been lost in our culture, due to the fact it is perceived
as weakness or mousiness. We live in the
culture of the Marlboro Man, the rugged individualist of the western world who
helped influence a generation of men to become isolated and
self-sufficient. Yet, self-sufficiency is
mostly good if one lives alone in the wilderness, but not so good when we
reside in and near communities.
Exercising humility is recognizing that we are not isolated, but are interconnected with
others who become our social support network, this becomes evident than when
we interact with God’s people who are called to be a family of believers 'the
Ecclesia'.
As ‘the Ecclesia’ we belong to Christ, what that means is that when we gather with one another Christ is manifested among us, we have the completeness of Christ in our hands for whatever we need, be it healing, provision, or even miracles, Christ is the source of all power.
When we pray
for our government and its officials so that God’s people will be protected and
this nation would walk out its true heritage and destiny, we must realize that
God is not in politics, politics is an invention of man, but God’s heart is in
relationship, and establishing relationships.
It is from these relationships that God shows what His heart is for His
people, all people.

We have everything
that we need, we have been equipped and outfitted with all the tools of the spirit which are necessary to effect change and bring a good outcome, our role
is to stand (or rest) in the finished work of Jesus, and proclaim the
victories which have already been won.
Our enemy is
tenacious, even though he has been defeated at the cross of Jesus he hasn’t totally
relinquished power, we need to remind him of his defeat and put him in his
proper place. I see our role as kind of
a “mop-up crew” from the original battle, cleaning out the left-overs of those demons who
are still hanging on.
Our humbleness in receiving the very nature of Jesus puts the enemy on notice that our fight is not with him, but the enemy's fight is with the humble King of glory who has won the victory over all principalities and powers and is seated in high heavenly places.

- There is strength in our praise and worship, more so when we worship together.
- There is power in our proclamations stating the truth we know in Christ.
- There is might where we stand united in Christ for the enemy doesn’t have a chance to come against the name of Jesus from a united front
Christ rules
over every power and authority in heaven and on earth.
Praise the Lord! He is our humble King.
Praise the Lord! He is our humble King.
Be Blessed;
