We are
called as Israel was called to be a servant to the Lord, even though it says we
are descendants of Abraham, Abraham was the father of all who trust God by faith, he became a friend of God through that faith.
This is the heritage that we have gained through the descendants of faith, we are called the children of Abraham.

God chose us
before we ever chose Him, He has always had His eye on us even from the ends of the
earth to its furthermost corners, God knows us no matter where we were located,
throughout time or space God knows our frame and how we are made.
We tend to believe that with our failures that God could never love us or could be near to rejecting us because of our shame, but God in His tender mercies will never reject us because He created us for Himself.
He never looks at our failures as the final say about our identity, He only sees our potential through the lens of His Son Jesus and what we can become in Him.

Our enemy is constantly telling us we are unqualified or unworthy to move forward in Christ namely because of our inadequacies. It is because of those inadequacies that Jesus died so that our lack may become His gain. The enemy always uses either a lie or half-truth to bring fear or despair into our lives to disable us from seeing the truth that Jesus beat him fair and square, his lies are only a veiled threat that has no substance and can never withstand full discovery.
Our God is with us, (Emmanuel) which brings peace and assurance that there is nothing that can come between us and separate us from the love of God. Not fear, doubt, or despair, God is always with us and in us through Christ Jesus our Lord.
God has taken the initiative beforehand and declared “I am your God…”, He makes it clear that there is no doubt that His identity with us is affirmed and secure. God wants us always to know and remember that He is secure in His position with us,
even when we doubt, He never changes.
That is the beauty of being in Christ Jesus, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (NIV)
It says that He will protect us, even if the waters rise around us, we can rest confidently that He is ours, and we are His, we are protected on every side.
It is this awareness of God’s presence in our lives that makes us strong and gives us confidence that our Heavenly Father is always looking out for us and is going to save us from anything that would attempt to harm us or convince us otherwise.
We can have confidence in the Lord for it is said:
"Be strong
and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord
your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)
We serve an amazing God!
We serve an amazing God!
Be Blessed;
