"...You have made the heavens and the earth..." Jeremiah 32:17

There is nothing else like the matchless wonder of God’s creation when we consider the beauty of the earth and the way it is designed to give us small glimpses of God and what He is capable of.  The layout of the heavens and the many stars which shine in their array demonstrates a uniqueness of order which goes beyond science and human explanation.  There is a balance in the cosmos which testifies of the creativity and preciseness of God as He created all things.

Mankind has the ability to recognize the creation and its creator above any other living creature that exists on the earth for we were also created from the creativity of God’s eternal mind.  It is the awareness of wonder that sets us apart and reveals that we are forever connected to our creator in the most intimate ways.

Colossians 1:16-17 (CEV) says:
Everything was created by him, everything in heaven and on earth, everything seen and unseen, including all forces and powers, and all rulers and authorities.  All things were created by God’s Son and everything was made for him.  God's Son was before all else, and by Him, everything is held together.

Mankind is drawn to know the creator, God’s son Jesus Christ resides in each and every man woman and child on this earth at their birth, it is the light of God’s spirit that reveals Jesus within them and to them.

Ephesians 5:13-14 (NIRV) says:
But everything the light shines on can be seen. And everything that the light shines on becomes a light. That is why it is said, “Wake up, sleeper. Rise from the dead. Then Christ will shine on you.”

Christ is ready to be resurrected (figuratively speaking) or (brought to life) in the lives of those who are dead in spirit.  When they are “awakened” by the Holy Spirit and He shines on us, our spirit is activated (or pinched alive) within us and we become aware of our creator and begin to hear His voice speak to us and we begin to reflect new life as Jesus is revealed.
It takes the illumination of the light to become a light.  This is the mystery of the universe, which is
"...Christ in you, He is your hope of glory" Col 1:27 (NIRV)

When it comes to reaching out to those who don’t know Jesus, we have been taught to evangelize and preach Jesus to others, yet there is something more powerful for reaching others for Christ and that is living our lives as an example which speaks louder than words alone. We are a living breathing testimony of what and who Jesus is by how we live our lives, and how we are seen.  Keep in mind it is not all about what we do (it’s not about works) it is about the light of Christ that shines through us.

Remember Ephesians 5:14:
"And everything that the light shines on becomes a light"

When we begin to stand (or rest) in Christ, we recognize that all the work that is necessary has been done at the cross of Jesus Christ.  Our position is to stand (rest) by faith in the abundance of grace given to us (Romans 5:1-2) It is when we rest in this fact that the power of God can flow through us and we become a living witness of Christ.

It is then we can pray with the “unction” or power of the Holy Spirit for unbelievers to know Jesus Christ, this breaks down walls of separation keeping them from the freedom that they need, so that God’s power may then flow freely in their lives. This is a spiritual battle, not a physical one.

We have been misled by some who believe that we must go toe to toe with the enemy and fight for new ground, that is not the case. The battle has already been won and our role is to declare the obvious, that the enemy has already been defeated at the cross and the victory is ours in Christ Jesus.  We stand (or rest) from a position of victory not from a position of warfare.

This is the legacy and priesthood of every believer.

This is where we state to the Lord "There is nothing too hard or too wonderful for You"

Nothing is as lovely or as wonderful as knowing Jesus.
Be Blessed;
