"Your promises are the source of my bubbling joy..." Psalm 119:162

There is an awareness that is awakened within the soul, is likened to the thrill of discovering love for the first time, it is the revelation of the word of the Lord, it is like refreshment and pure energy to the soul.

As we wake each morning there is a clean slate, a new day in which the Lord reveals His tenderness to us by gently speaking of His love and mercy to us.  There is no remembrance of past failures because they are forgotten and they no longer hold power over us because Jesus bought and paid for us to be free from that penalty of falling short of God’s expectations, The Father only sees us through the sacrifice of Jesus.

Joy is really not our possession, but it is the Joy of the Lord, Jesus offers His joy to us freely because He has won the victory over sin and death as a conquering King over this earth.  There is a stream of excitement that flows knowing that this joy will one day permeate the entire earth as Jesus returns and receives possession of the earth to rule and reign in His kingdom.

The enemy is stepping up his game by allowing technology to increase, to once again counter the rule of Jesus, God’s one true king.  The world is once again set to be united as one entity as it was in Babylonian times under Nimrod.

There is the arrogance of self-reliance that comes from the attitude that observable science is the only answer for our existence, not the God of the bible.  Science still believes that our universe came from nothing into existence, but even common scientific deductive reasoning would tell us that NOthing does not produce SOMEthing.  That is the delusion held by many who embrace the Big Bang Theory, delusion is the enemy’s game and it always starts with a lie and expounds outward from there.

At the tower of Babel, there was technology derived from the fall of man and angelic beings which corrupted them, there was this same type of arrogance that was centered around declaring a society to be Godlike because they could reach the heavens with their knowledge and build their tower much like an antenna to receive God's signal, God declared that unity of the spirit and the mind was a good thing among the people in the New Testament, but back then is was based on  a false precept, this was a misrepresentation of the nature of God, for technology, was not the way to God.

God confused the languages of the people, It was as if confusing the tongues and languages of the people was like the first example of new tongues being released upon a people apart from the 2nd chapter of Acts, but in a permanent way.  In a spiritual sense, it was God giving a new voice for the people and only through God’s power could interpretation be done, this caused people to seek God directly for meaning and interpretation.  God was revealing to mankind that going directly through Him was the only way to know Him, not by technology or by human effort by building a tower.

It is only in pursuing God that the true revelation of His nature can be found, in our case that revelation is Jesus Christ Himself.  Jesus is the hidden treasure which has been revealed to us in our time, and when we pursue Him true joy is found.

King David described in Psalm 23:3 (TPT) “He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love.
His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss.”  We are lead into places of His rest and peace where we can know the stillness and quietness of His voice.

Jesus described this by referencing a passage in Isaiah when He spoke of living waters flowing out of our bellies:
“And I will always guide you and satisfy you with good things. I will keep you strong and well. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water, like a spring of water that never goes dry.” Isaiah 58:11 (GNT)

Joy can be described like a bubbling stream which has a continuous flow which never runs dry.  We know this joy by receiving a new flowing revelation of the Word of the Lord daily, as the continual flow of the stream never stops, so should the constant revelation of the voice of the Lord thrill us and excite us as new found treasure which enriches us and keeps us coming back for more.

You see, this is the thing, once you have experienced this flow of the spirit bubbling up in your life, enriching and filling you, you are ruined for anything less.

That is our calling, to be ruined for nothing less than the presence of God, to trust in His promises and let the life of the spirit well up within us that we may water others.

Then, whatever the enemy uses to distract us will have no effect because we have our own personal source of 'bubbling joy' which is Jesus Himself.
Be Blessed;
