Prayer is effective and accomplishes what it sets out to do, even if we do not see the immediate results from our efforts. We can shake and rattle the powers of darkness when we pray, for prayer is something that they fear. The greatest fear our enemy has is us standing in Christ's authority and declaring his defeat, that is also one prayer that the devil cannot dispute, for it is that prayer that ensures our victory. James 5:15-16
