Coming to the Lord with gladness and Joy speaks
of celebrating the victories He has brought into our lives.
First of all, we are redeemed from a life of
torment from our enemies, the Lord has paid for all of our debt in full, and we
are no longer a slave to sin.
Secondly, we now have full access to be brought near in very close proximity to the Father, Jesus has restored that relationship.
Secondly, we now have full access to be brought near in very close proximity to the Father, Jesus has restored that relationship.
This isn’t a temporary fix, this is a joy that lasts forever, and it will be upon the heads of His people. They will wear Joy like a crown which will adorn their heads. They will also march forward with purpose to a heavenly destination that is in view, that destination is Zion.
The actual Mount Zion was first designated at the temple mount in Jerusalem which was captured from the Jebusites by King David. The word "Zion" is a synecdoche (having a different meaning), it now represents our castle or fortress in the heavens where God resides, our eternal destination.
God’s people move toward their destination with singing and dancing before the Lord with gladness of heart, and Joy which is unspeakable all because of God's great love.
Be Blessed;
