"..it is God's power at work" - 1 Corinthians 1:18 (CEV)

The message of the cross is an offense to those who choose to reject it, for it becomes a stumbling block.

God routinely gets blamed for many of humanity’s problems, when it is a simple matter of reaping what we sow into this life. There are always consequences for our actions, individually, nationally, and globally.

God’s laws cannot be broken without consequence; He has integrated the response of all of creation to react accordingly to our words and actions, either for evil or for good. We can choose to steward this earth (and serve each other) as God had intended, or we can perpetuate evil upon the land, like abortion, gay marriage, (to name a few), and other vices that are contrary to God’s established order that violates His design.

All creation is designed to either respond with us or against us to reflect God’s order; it is the way God created the world with a resonant memory of His original design.

We live in a co-equal world that is both natural and spiritual; if the natural world is out of sync with the spiritual world, then the consequences can be catastrophic for both, and the same visa-versa.

We have been taught to blame Satan for the evils in this world, but He exists only as a deceiver (a thought engine) to corrupt humanity.

When we take our thoughts into our world, we have the option to reject God’s design or partnering with Him, that is our role in free will. When we step out of God’s designed order and follow the deception of Satan, the created order reacts against us. What was once natural and perfect becomes corrupt and abhorrent.

“For we know that all created things groan and are in labor until today. And not only so, but we also who have in us the first fruits of The Spirit; we groan in ourselves and we look for the adoption of sons and the redemption of our bodies, Because we live in that hope; but hope that is seen is not hope, for if we see hope, why do we look for it? But if we hope for what is not seen, we wait patiently for it.”
Romans 8:22-25 (ABPE)

What we are now seeing are the first fruits of God’s restored order being demonstrated in the creation and also growing in us too.

As the Ecclesia, we are beginning to recognize who we are in Christ; we are moving out and making declarations of faith for healing, miracles, and restoration of creation itself. God has put His word in our minds and mouths, and we are now beginning to speak that creative word into the natural and spiritual world, and God’s creation is responding.

“We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.”
2 Corinthians 10:5-6 (MSG)

Whoever said that salvation was just about confessing Jesus and going on with our lives? Confessing Jesus is only a small part of the message of the cross. Jesus must become the Lord of our lives, and we must obey Him and die to our carnal nature.  That is what "believing" entails.

“During Christ’s days on earth he pleaded with God, praying with passion and with tearful agony that God would spare him from death. And because of his perfect devotion his prayer was answered and he was delivered. But even though he was a wonderful Son, he learned to listen and obey through all his sufferings. And after being proven perfect in this way he has now become the source of eternal salvation to all those who listen to him and obey.”
Hebrews 5:7-9 (TPT)

Eternal salvation is about listening to Jesus and obeying what He tells us to do; which has never been more evident than right now with the coronavirus ravaging the earth.

The coronavirus has a spiritual counterpart with it, which is a demonic principality from China. This principality has several intentions, one of which is destroying life on the planet, as well as destroying the bride of Christ—the other intention is destroying financial economies worldwide.

The Ecclesia is now standing up to this virus and declaring victory and defeat to its aims and shutting the door on any further spread of sickness or further economic collapse worldwide.

Suddenly, the believers in Christ have been thrust upon the world scene to intercede and prayerfully manage the events of the day.

“Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. It is pleasing to our Savior-God to pray for them. He longs for everyone to embrace his life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.”
“For God is one, and there is one Mediator between God and the sons of men—the true man, Jesus, the Anointed One. He gave himself as ransom-payment for everyone. Now is the proper time for God to give the world this witness.”
1 Timothy 2:1-6 (TPT)

The message has been laid out before us ahead of time, all we need to do is put on Christ, much like putting on clothing and start walking in faith, and then God will fight for us with His angel-armies to bring His decisive victories quickly.

We cannot lose for are His heirs, and as His heirs, He hears us and responds to us when we pray.

Be Blessed;
Stephen Barnett
