I woke up
this morning with this scripture in my mind.
When we have troubles (or storms)
in this life, the Lord is our light guiding us back to shores of grace and
peace. The storms, however, serve a purpose
to strengthen our resolve and give us the confidence to trust Him even in the midst
of struggle and loss. The Lord actually is
our strength, not us trusting in our own machinations, He alone is our
victory.
Oh to be forever in His
presence beholding His beauty, which is our reward for our steadfast holding on
to His promises. He will fulfill His
promises in us, and will never leave or forsake us.
Psalm 27:1-4
