The time is
short before the Lord’s return, though it is imminent, we must remain vigilant in
our lives to maintain quiet peaceable lives of obedience and holiness unto the
Lord.
One way that is done as mentioned in
the above scripture is to specifically pray for the times in which we live. Pray for our leaders, pray for families and
children who need the Lord.
Pray for the homeless, even when we lack the resource to assist in a tangible
way to bring immediate relief, the Lord hears our prayers and responds in ways
we cannot.
We believe in and serve a supernatural God who can do supernatural things to help His people.
We believe in and serve a supernatural God who can do supernatural things to help His people.
Peter tells us to love each other deeply, that is without reservation or expectation. God desires to express Himself through our love for one another.
Jesus is the one who seeks and saves those who are lost who need a savior, He is our rescuer and the rescuer all of mankind.
Jesus’ love forgave us our sins while we were still sinners, how much more should we love others who need forgiveness expressed to them through the love of Christ that resides within us, even though they may be entangled in many sins, Peter makes it clear that love will prevail if we respond.
Our role
before the Lord’s return is crucial, it is about allowing ourselves to be
conformed into the mind of Christ. (Romans 12:2) This way the love of Christ that lives inside us can permeate everything and everyone we encounter so
that we can recognize that Jesus is preeminent in all things. (Colossians 1:15-20)
Even though the end of all things as we know is coming, we have a refuge in Christ Jesus for us and others we encounter, that is the Good News.
Be Blessed;
