"..Fasten your hearts to the love of God.." Jude 20-21 (TPT)

“..constantly and progressively build yourselves up..”, Jude declares we need to be constantly reminded that we are God’s children and our purpose is to stand on the promises of God for our lives and the lives of others.  This isn’t something that we can just hear once and say “we’ve got this”, Jude makes it clear that this is a “progressive” learning over time where much is revealed as we are ready to receive it.

“..build yourselves upon the foundation of your most holy faith..” as I have said previously, this is the faith of Jesus which has been imparted to us which continues to grow and reveal Christ, Jude defines it as “..your most holy faith..” we hold Christ within us as a divine possession, something which is separate from us and our natural experience, which is Christ in you the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27

Something that I have learned by “..praying every moment in the Spirit..” is that everything we say with our mouths is either creative or destructive.  God gave us this world in its natural state with all of its wonders so that we could begin speaking to the spiritual state of being and bring it into our reality.  The spiritual state exists alongside the natural awaiting to be revealed, and the only thing that is preventing it from being revealed properly is us.

Jesus revealed that we have the power to speak life or death, healing or sickness, blessing or cursing, light or dark into the atmosphere by the choosing and speaking of positive affirming words.  When we choose to speak life and love in Christ there is dynamic energy that is released that touches the spiritual and connects with our natural life and health and wholeness, and restorative healing is the result.

Jude tells us to “..Fasten your hearts to the love of God..”, it is from that point that "..we live, move, and have our being.."  Acts 17:28 , this isn’t just a saying, this is an action.  If our hearts are fastened to the love of God then we speak from a place of knowledge of what love is by putting it into action.

One of the many aspects of God’s love is recognizing that everything that He has created by His spoken word was originally pure and unadulterated, much of creation as we know it has been corrupted because of sin and the lack of love to energize it, in its present state creation is out of balance.

When we speak positive life-giving words into creation our words have a profound effect that actually brings energy, and balance back to the created order.  For example, we can live in perfect balance with God’s creation by speaking health and healing to our bodies by our attitude and our positive healing words.

Praying in the Holy Spirit isn’t some ethereal thing that is out of our reach, it is as natural as you and I conversing with each other about the weather, but at the same time it is spiritual because we are touching something we cannot see and we are bringing that conversation into our natural world.  Speaking positive words of life do have an effect on the created order.

We are like batteries which are fully charged which need to be connected to the source (which is Jesus) to release our energy into the world to make everything within our sphere of influence energized with that same power so that it is brought back into balance with love and life, that is where the beauty of creation shows what it was meant to be, a reflection of Christ Himself.

Jude goes on “..receive the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ..”, that mercy is the positive affections of God for us, with that awareness, that this is not something that we have learned by study or by us being smart enough or even knowledgeable, this mercy was freely given to us by Jesus Himself, the comprehension of God’s eternal love which transcends our natural world gives us the awareness that He created everything in existence for us to participate in creative ways to make a change for the better.

These creative ways are for us to speak from the life of Christ that resides within us the positive affections of God into everything and everyone we encounter so that He might be in all things through our words and actions, it is calling out the truth of creation.

Jude finishes this statement by saying “..our Lord Jesus Christ, who gives us eternal life.”  Jude wants us to know that we are stepping off into things which are outside of our natural existence into things which are beyond time and space.

Jesus exists in the spiritual and we connect with Him through what we say, literally with our voices, it is when we connect with the spiritual (or eternal) that a new paradigm unfolds to us, we become a voice that reflects the truth of God.  What is amazing about the word truth is the first three letters of the word which are “TRU”, truth speaks about what is “TRUe” concerning creation and our involvement with Jesus and what He wants to do which is to participate with Him and fully restore His creation.
We speak what is true, and it brings life, hope, and restoration.

The enemy wants us to ignore or be blinded to what is true because of his vested interest in the world’s destruction, he wants to destroy everything that God has created as retribution for him being removed from his favored position with God.

Our position is to speak God’s affection and truth to all things and restore them back into balance once again as it was at the time of creation itself.  We have a big task ahead of us, and all creation is waiting for us to take our place.

“The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters! For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futility resulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God’s children. To this day we are aware of the universal agony and groaning of creation, as if it were in the contractions of labor for childbirth. And it’s not just creation. We who have already experienced the firstfruits of the Spirit also inwardly groan as we passionately long to experience our full status as God’s sons and daughters—including our physical bodies being transformed.” Romans 8:19-23 (TPT)

We are being prepared for what is coming which is a revolution, a spiritual revolution to declare the mercies and affections of God over all of creation.  We will be transformed in the process and even our physical bodies will reflect the change as we speak the truth of God over our bodies.
What is that truth?

“I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.”  Psalm 139:14 (AMP)
