Omniscience
is knowing everything; our God has the advantage of omniscience regarding
everything that did exist, will exist or will happen in heaven and on earth because He lives
outside the boundaries of time and space.
We are presently locked into a continuum where time (or death) dictates
our actions, what gives time its power is sin because death is equated with sin. Romans 6:23, James 1:15, Romans 5:12, Romans 7:5
Humanity was originally created to be immortal living in
Eden, God's purpose was to spread (or
expand) Eden throughout the
entire earth, but sin put the brakes on that plan from happening and created a
breach in the divine plan and brought an awareness that the accuser had tricked (or deceived) man into disobeying God. However, our God knew what would happen, and made
provision for mankind outside of Eden to live until the fullness of time was
reached, and His redemption plan was fully put in place.
Did God know that that man would fail? Sure He did. God
knew that the only way for man to become what God destined him to be is for the Lord to take sin upon Himself and live through humanity and become man's means of salvation.
"God's thoughts are nothing like our thoughts." Understanding that our
God is sovereign, free, and independent gives us a clue that a divine plan was
in place from the beginning and was being carried out even though by all
outward appearances, it seemed it was derailed. Remember that God is omniscient and not
bound by time; it was a matter of only trusting in the plan to unfold and bring about its
desired result.
Even though God is independent, He desires to be
surrounded by His divine council (or
sons of God); this is the
family of God. Those of the divine council are beings that are loyal to Him and who lovingly and continually serve Him. We are to be part of that divine council. Paul speaks of
this in Romans 8:
"For I consider that the sufferings of the present
time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed
to us. For the eagerly expecting creation awaits eagerly the revelation of the
sons of God. For the creation has been subjected to futility, not willingly,
but because of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also
will be set free from its servility to decay, into the glorious freedom of the
children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans together and
suffers agony together until now. Not only this, but we ourselves also, having
the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves while
we await eagerly our adoption, the redemption of our body. For in hope we were
saved, but hope that is seen is not hope, for who hopes for what he sees? But
if we hope for what we do not see, we await it eagerly with patient endurance."
Romans 8:18-25
(LEB)
Peter also spoke of this awareness of God making us into His sons and daughters showing us that we are partakers of the
divine nature.
"May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the
knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, because his divine power has bestowed
on us all things that are necessary for life and godliness, through the
knowledge of the one who called us by his own glory and excellence of
character, through which things he has bestowed on us his precious and very
great promises, so that through these you may become sharers of the divine
nature after escaping from the corruption that is in the world because of evil
desire, and for this same reason, and by applying all diligence, supply with
your faith excellence of character, and with excellence of character,
knowledge, and with knowledge, self-control, and with self-control, patient
endurance, and with patient endurance, godliness, and with godliness, brotherly
love, and with brotherly love, love."
2 Peter 1:2-7 (LEB)
Jesus has declared a family reunion, and we are invited as
His sons and daughters to partake in the very nature of God Himself. Jesus is God in the flesh and has given us the Holy Spirit
with His power that we may reflect the Spirit of Christ in all we are and all that we do. We are being transformed into the reflection of Christ.
Our enemies which are the principalities and powers which rule over the
nations, take notice of us and are paying close attention as we become more and
more part of the divine nature. And as the presence of God permeates our lives,
we will eventually displace them as rulers over the nations and
establish the Kingdom rule of God on this earth.
It sounds lofty I know, but that is what is prophesied and promised.
God will do the impossible and bring about the most
significant shift in geopolitics that the world has ever seen, and His sons and
daughters with reign with Him. And it is all about God's love for humankind, demonstrating His mercy, not a power grab.
"And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine." I do have trouble
imagining it, but I know that it will become a reality in due course, this is
the endgame and our future with God on the earth to reign with Him.
It is all about God's love and bringing His family back
together; this is what Jesus died for, to glorify (make divine) many
sons and daughters.
"For now he towers above all creation, for all
things exist through him and for him. And that God made him, pioneer of our
salvation, perfect through his sufferings, for this is how he brings many sons
and daughters to share in his glory."
Hebrews 2:10 (TPT)
