It is not weakness being afraid, it can be a good thing that warns us of danger unless fear controls us.
Fear is a choice we make which we can either allow it to disable us or empower us. When fear does become disabling, we can acknowledge it and disable fear by recognizing the source, take its power and declare that we will not be afraid because we have God’s declaration to not be afraid for God is for us and not against us.
God’s word is a firm foundation to put our trust. When we are threatened by circumstances which seem impossible to overcome, we can put our trust in the God of miracles to fight for us and empower us to stand firm. He then brings us to a resting place of peace having confidence knowing He has our outcome well in hand.
